The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an attractive destination for job seekers and workers. Thousands of people move there in search of a better life. when expatriates get jobs in KSA, they definitely have to love there. so, for this concern, they have to register national address KSA.
The Saudi government asks a foreigner to enter his or her living address into the national address registration system. The national address system was developed by the Saudi post corporation to provide a comprehensive address system of all regions of KSA.
The above-mentioned law has been passed by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 252 dated 07/24/1434 AH. According to this law, everyone is bound to register their living address in their database. And it is right of the Saudi government to know about the geographic location and address of their residents.
Importance of Address Registration
There are a lot of benefits of national address registration. When you go to the bank to open an account, they ask for national address registration. The car insurance company also demands address registration. Your registered address can be helpful for postal service. The national address record can help law departments to trace anybody in case of any criminal activity.
Now, the question arises how to register your address in the National Address registration database? I will explain the process in detail.
How to Register Your Address
The procedure of address registration in national address registration is very simple and straightforward. This process can be done within five minutes. You don’t need to go to any bank or any official or consultant.
After the complete process, your address will be updated in all your accounts which you opened at your iqama ID in any bank in Saudi Arabia within 24 hours. You have to be careful during this process and sit on that location which you want to register because that system will take your GPS location.
Step:1 Go to the official website of National Address Registration. A window will open with three options. 1. Registration of individuals, 2. Registration of the Business sector and 3. Registration of governmental agencies.
Step:2 You will go with the option of “Registration of individuals” for fresh residents.
Next page, you will click on “New Registration”.
Step:3 A page of terms and conditions will be open and you will click on the tick option below and click on “register individual”. On this page, you will see a form divided into 2 parts.
Step:4 In the first part, you will enter your region, city, district, and building number. You can find the building number written on the building’s main gate.
Step:5 After filling in all information, click on the “Verify Address” button. The system will check all of your given information for verification. If the given information is correct, the bellow button will turn from yellow to green.
Step:6 After verification of your present living address, you will fill in your personal information such as national ID, ID type, Iqama Number, Iqama Expiry Date, Date of birth, Mobile number, Email, Gender, and residency information (residency type and ownership).
Step:7 After that all, just click on the “Next” button.
Step:8 After a few seconds, you will receive an activation code of 4 figures on your mobile from Saudi Post on your given number. You need to enter this verification code to verify that all information is correct.
Step:9 On a new page, you will see all information you have entered with some other fetched information from the database.
Step:10 You have to read all the information carefully and click on the “Register” button in case of correct information.
You will see a message “Thank you, Your National Address registered successfully, Your Registration will be activated within 24 hours”
